タップシェーパー＋Rチェッカ―です。
タップのR(丸み)を整えるシェーパーとRチェッカーのセットです。
また、専用紙ヤスリ50枚もついてます。
※ 背面用のヤスリは含まず

Rは0.5mm刻みで7.5mm～12.0mmの全10種類あります。

【使い方：タップシェーパー】
1.R10に1.5cm幅にカットした好みの紙ヤスリを入れます。
2.紙ヤスリの上からタップを押し付け、火起こしの要領でタップを削ります。
3.タップを削り終わり、紙ヤスリが削れなくなったら、紙ヤスリを引っ張り、きれいな面をセットします。そうすると、新しいヤスリで削ることができます。

・裏面にも少しRが付いていますので、こちらを使ってタップの最終整形することもできます。
・紙ヤスリの厚さ分、Rがきつくなりますので、もし求めるRが出ない場合は、1段階緩いRを使ってみてください。

【使い方：Rチェッカー】
・タップの上から当てて、Rを測ります。
・先頭に穴が開いてますので、キーホルダーのようにキューケースにぶら下げることもできます。

市販のタップR整形ツールは、Rの種類が少なく、ヤスリも摩耗して削れなくなります。
それを解消するため、Rの種類を増やし、ヤスリは気軽に交換できるR10をぜひ、お試しください！

This is the Tap Shaper + R Checker set.
It’s a set consisting of a shaper for adjusting the R (roundness) of taps and an R checker.
It also comes with 50 sheets of special sandpaper.
* Does not include sandpaper for the back side.

There are 10 types of R sizes available, ranging from 7.5 mm to 12.0 mm in 0.5 mm increments.

[How to Use: Tap Shaper]
1. Insert your preferred sandpaper, cut to a width of 1.5 cm, into the R10 slot.
2. Press the tap down onto the sandpaper and file the tap as if you were striking a flint.
3. Once you’ve finished filing the tap and the sandpaper is no longer effective, pull out the sandpaper and insert a fresh, clean sheet. This allows you to continue filing with a new sheet.

・The back side also has a slight radius, so you can use this side to perform the final shaping of the tap.
・The radius becomes tighter by the thickness of the sandpaper, so if you cannot achieve the desired radius, try using a tap with a radius one step smaller.

[How to Use: R Checker]
• Place it over the tap to measure the R.
• There’s a hole at the tip, so you can hang it from your cue case like a keychain.

Commercially available tap R-shaping tools offer few R options, and their sandpaper wears out and becomes ineffective.
